About

Born in 1988, in A Coruña, Spain. I studied piano, percussion and solfege in the music college.  Although at that time in my region percussion wold was more seen as a men' world, somehow when I was fourteen I decided, I would become a professional percussionist. My passion was (and is still) contemporary music. 

So, I started traveling every weekend to Madrid to study among others with percussion teachers Juanjo Guillem, Philippe Spiesser, Rafael Gálvez and Juanjo Rubio at the prestigious percussion school Neopercusión. I was anxious of traveling and learning, so four years later I moved to Palma de Mallorca to study at the Conservatory of Music and Dance of the Balear Islands and kept traveling once or twice a month to Perpignan (France) to keep having lessons with percussionist Philippe Spiesser.

After finishing my Bachelor- Degree I moved to Basel (Switzerland) to study a Master in Arts Performance and a Master Specialization in New Music with percussionist Christian Dierstein, saxophonist Markus Weiss, trombonist and composer Mike Svoboda and conductor and pianist Jürg Henneberger. During my second year in Basel I was working as an apprentice with the Sinfonieorchester Basel, where I got the chance to play under conductor Valery Gergiev and Denis Russel Davies. Later on, I met finish pianist Helga Karen, with whom I'm playing as a "Duo Tied" (piano and percussion Duo) since then.

Not tired of moving, I spend another three years living in the beautiful german city Freiburg in Breisgau. There I was a student in the class of Professor Bernhard Wulff, Prof. Taijiro Miyazaki and Pascal Pons. My time in Freiburg was inspiring and full of travelling to until then unknown countries for me

 and did cooperate softly alsopedagogy and Alexander Technique. 

Born in 1991, in Ufa, Russia, I studied piano, composition and conducting at music college. After graduation in 2010, I decided to continue as a composer in Moscow State Conservatory with prof. Yuri Kasparov for the next five years. In 2015 I started my master program in composition at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln with prof. Johannes Schöllhorn. And since Fall 2016 I am a PhD candidate at Harvard University, studying instrumental composition with prof. Chaya Czernowin and electroacoustic composition with prof. Hans Tutschku.
